In addition to managing a mixed investment portfolio, responsibilities include finding suitable development projects, site purchases, appointing development teams and project managing schemes including:
- Office redevelopment of 5-7 St Mary Street, Cardiff
- New offices at St Hillary Court, Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff
- New office headquarters building for ELWA at Bedwas
- Capita Business Centre, Blackburn
- Multi Storey Car Park, Blackburn
As a qualified architect, Edward worked in private practice with Thomas Saunders & Associates in London. Among other projects, he designed bank interiors and dealing rooms for Chase Manhattan Bank, Franklins National Bank and Sumitomo Bank. After joining Claremont Corporation, Edward gained his early development experience as project coordinator on developments in Paris, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. Later, as the senior development executive with CIP Securities Limited, he managed high quality listed building refurbishments in Islington, Pall Mall and Portland Place, London and Place de Valois in Paris.
